East Greenwich PD Community Outreach

East Greenwich Police Department has partnered with Heritage’s community engagement. This summer, EGPD resumes their proactive police bicycle patrols throughout the township which provides the department opportunity to interact with residents, especially our youth. While on patrol, officers are encouraged to engage youth and reward kids riding bike helmets, minding proper rules of the road, or simply observed doing something good. Officers will issue youth gift certificates redeemable for a free ice cream sandwich at their local Heritage’s.
