During the month of October, Heritage’s hosted a round-up fundraiser for the Arc Gloucester, a community organization that empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to achieve their highest potential through advocacy, education, and quality services.

Thanks to the generosity of our awesome staff and guests, this week we delivered a check to The Arc Gloucester for $20,000 in support of their great cause. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this a success.

We’re thrilled to announce Tammy Flood as our “Wholesale Magician of the Month” for October! Tammy is a true multi-talented professional, and she excels in every role she takes on. From being our dependable office manager to a customer service expert, backup booker, and buyer, Tammy wears many hats and wears them all exceptionally well.

Tammy is helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. Her consistent willingness to assist, along with her wealth of knowledge, makes her an invaluable asset to our team. But what’s even more incredible is that she accomplishes all of this with a beaming smile and a friendly greeting, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone she interacts with.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Tammy on our team. Her dedication, versatility, and warm personality truly make a difference.

We are thrilled to recognize Sandy Moore as October’s “Magician of the Month”. Her unwavering willingness to help anyone, coupled with her ever-present smile, makes her an absolute treasure. Everyone knows her as the very loud and funny lady from HR! Her presence is like a ray of sunshine. She is just such a pleasure to be around and she brings an irreplaceable joy to our company. Heritage’s would not be the same without her!

Sandy’s dedication truly shines through her actions. Just last week, she went the extra mile by conducting a one-on-one GSM Workshop late into the night to accommodate an employee who had another job and could not arrive until 6:30pm. Her commitment to fulfilling employee requests for workshops is truly remarkable.

Furthermore, Sandy has taken on the challenge of getting our engraver to work over the past couple of months. It’s been a demanding and labor-intensive process, but with her care and effort, she’s managed to produce name tags.

In addition to her HR responsibilities, Sandy takes the lead in planning and cooking for our manager’s meetings, touching our hearts through our stomachs. Her culinary talents create a warm and inviting atmosphere for these gatherings, making them all the more enjoyable.

Sandy’s influence doesn’t stop there; she’s the life of our company events. Her outstanding job at the recent picnic added an extra layer of fun and excitement. Sandy’s vibrant personality elevates all our company gatherings, making them memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

On September 9th, we hosted our annual company picnic at the picturesque Greenwood Bells Lake in Washington Township.

This annual event is our way of saying “Thank you” to our incredible employees and their families. Without their dedication and hard work, Heritage’s wouldn’t be the success story it is. We are truly thankful and blessed to have such an amazing team.

Our staff enjoyed a day filled with fun, gratitude, and pure magic. Activities included swimming in the pool and lake, fishing, and various games with prizes that kept the excitement going all day long.
And let’s not forget the food! Food trucks provided delicious options that satisfied everyone’s taste buds.

Every guest received a commemorative towel, and for the little ones, there were bubble wands to add an extra dash of magic to their day.

The Heritage’s Company Picnic was an enchanting day of celebration, appreciation, and bonding. It is more than just an event; it is a tradition of gratitude and fun that we cherish every year.

We hope our staff enjoyed the MAGICAL day…can’t wait to celebrate again next year!

Let’s give a big shoutout to Bill Filling, our rockstar on the wholesale team since 2014! He’s the guy responsible for handling all the grocery items and even steps in as the backup in the cigarette room. Bill’s the definition of a hard worker who’s always up for anything, anytime. Plus, he’s got that infectious smile and a quick one-liner that keeps us all grinning.

This month, our workplace superstar is Betty Ann Staab! She’s the one with the perpetual smile, no matter what craziness comes her way. Not only does she keep the office spotless, but she’s also the guardian of the ever-hot coffee, ensuring our comfort. Betty’s contributions far surpass the traditional receptionist role, extending her support to every department, even though her official role is within HR. She embodies the true spirit of a team player, always ready to lend a hand, often anticipating needs before they’re voiced. She’s like a magician behind the scenes, going above and beyond.

The dictionary defines a receptionist as someone who answers phones and greets visitors, but Betty redefines it. She’s the HR rockstar we all rely on daily.
